He served as a Lead Author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Fifth Assessment Report\, focusing on strategies to reduce industrial greenhouse gas emissions. \nAllwood is the author of Sustainable Materials: With Both Eyes Open (2012)\, which was selected by Bill Gates as one of his six favourite books of 2015.
