SUMMARY:Nature Recovery – From the Ground Up
DESCRIPTION:The Nature Recovery – From the Ground Up project is a 4-year Cambridgeshire County Council funded project that will support parishes to put together Community Nature Recovery Plans that are aligned with the recently published Local Nature Recovery Strategy. \nThere is a working group meeting for the south and east cambs project coming up: \nSouth/East Cambs border working group meeting (focusing on Histon\, Impington\, Cottenham and Haddenham): Weds 21st Jan\, 19:00-20:30\, Cottenham Village Hall (Balcony Room) – sign up here \nThe first phase of the project will support 25 parishes/city wards across the 5 districts of Cambridgeshire to co-create Community Nature Plans including habitat maps\, biodiversity opportunity maps and an evidence-based 5-year pipeline of feasible community nature projects. \nThe meetings are intended for people who are interested in shaping how the project is taken forward locally\, including members of local community groups\, individuals who have an interest in nature recovery and local councillors.
